When we say The Delighted Dog is a family business, we mean it! Our team is composed of three sitters...Laurel, Roni and John. We are a mother-daughter-son team who often work together. We are all proud "pet parents" and we share a unique understanding and compassion for the animals in our lives. It is with teamwork and a sense of community that we chose to begin service as professional dog walkers and pet sitters in Southern Wake County.
As neighbors and friends, we appreciate this opportunity and we look forward to working with you and you pets(s).
When you schedule an initial consultation, we will both come to your home to meet with you and your pet(s). This is a great opportunity for us to get acquainted and to go over any questions you may have regarding our services. We will also take this time to gather important information about your pet's regular routine and specific needs. We want to provide the best possible care while you are away, so we prefer to go over any household items and emergency contact information with you before we begin.
How will you handle my keys?
1-2 working key(s) should be given to your sitter during your first meeting. Most clients choose to leave a key on file so we are ready for future service at a moment's notice. Rest assured your keys will be kept safely.
Please check all newly made keys to make sure they work properly!
Your sitter will most certainly pick-up after your pet(s) during walks. We are always courteous and respectful of your property and that of your neighbors.
There are many ways for us to check in with you, whether you are gone for the day or on an extended stay. We utilize daily pet journals detailing activities and can also arrange for email updates or phone calls. Most importantly, we want you to feel connected and confident.
The Delighted Dog is a small business that's big on service. With us you don't have to worry...we are professional, dependable and personable. You'll never have to sacrifice the individual attention that both you and your pet deserve.
